With sneakers, suit jackets, and gold-plated instruments, the Canadian Brass will dazzle audiences with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra. Maestro Stuart Malina will conduct as the iconic artists of the Canadian Brass play their way into the hearts of the HSO audience.
The members of Canadian Brass are pioneers of dynamic stage performance, technical precision, and snazzy style wrapped up in a brass quintet. The first group of its kind, the Canadian Brass has set a standard for delivering an energetic and endlessly entertaining show.
Over the last 40 years, 90 recordings, and innumerable performances, the Canadian Brass has embraced genres from classical to contemporary to jazz. They have transcribed, arranged, and commissioned hundreds of pieces to create an expansive musical repertoire that complements their varied influences.
With Chuck Daellenbach on tuba, Achilles Liarmakopoulos on trombone, Eric Reed (formerly an HSO member) on French horn, and Christopher Coletti and Brandon Ridenour on trumpet, our HSO audience is sure to get a performance chockfull of talent, humour and charm.
