The Kitchen Shoppe Cooking Class
with Maestro Malina



Join Maestro Stuart and Marty Malina for a cooking class led by Chef Diane Phillips at The Kitchen Shoppe in Carlisle. The Kitchen Shoppe was described recently as a “culinary Disneyland” and this class will give you the opportunity to watch the preparation of an exciting menu that has been selected personally by the Malinas. 

    • Roasted artichoke and leek soup (non-dairy)
    • Field green salad with roasted pears, toasted spiced pecans, and balsamic vinaigrette
    • Crispy pan roasted halibut with roasted ratatouille
    • Zucchini parmesan rice
    • Molten chocolate soufflés with fresh strawberries

Your evening will include delicious samplings of every course. BYOB if you wish.

Spring Bird Watch Walking Tour




As spring arrives, watch the birds return to their nesting grounds. Join a naturalist for this guided walk – accessible to all abilities – through the woodlands and wetlands of Wildwood Park. A picnic lunch will be provided following the walk. Ages 8 through adult.

You’ll have a behind-the-scenes look at the Army Heritage and Education Center, the centerpiece of the US Army’s historical program and a major component of the US Army War College. See documents and artifacts spanning the entire history of the Army, including the original War Department Library established by President George Washington.
