The purpose of the Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestras is to enrich the lives of young people within a musical community.  We provide the finest possible training, practice and performance opportunities, enabling our students to learn, share and enjoy the power of music.

HSYO Ho! Ho! Ho!

Join the Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestra and Junior Youth String Orchestra for a FREE concert as they perform seasonal favorites and light-classics. Rumor has it Santa might even be there!

FREE (No ticket needed.)

This concert features the exquisite Mother Goose ballet by Ravel and one of Mozart's greatest symphonies, his Symphony No. 40.

James Bond classics set the stage as we perform music from some of the films that make up the James Bond franchise. Vocalist Rachel York sings music from Goldfinger, Live & Let Die, Diamonds Are Forever, and many more.

The annual Stuart and Friends chamber music concert continues at Gamut Theatre this year. Program to be announced. Gamut Theatre (15 N. 4th St.) in downtown Harrisburg.

Three stunning orchestral masterpieces are featured in this concert, including Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Strauss's Death & Transfiguration, and the complete Firebird ballet by Stravinsky.

Stuart Malina will be seated at the piano to perform one of his favorite concertos, the Concerto in F by George Gershwin. After intermission, we'll conclude our Masterworks season with one of the greatest Russian symphonies, Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2
